Fixtures Week Commencing 2nd March
Another busy week of fixtures as we head into the final stages of the Bucs League action along with the small matter of a Queens Park Shield Semi-Final match for the Men’s 1st team.
The men’s 1st team kick off this week’s fixtures with a place in the Queens Park Shield up for grabs as they host RGU 1s. The 1s will be aiming for a third final appearance in 5 years as they go in search of regaining the shield they won in April 2018. RGU 1s will be a tough encounter given their high finish in Bucs 1A but off the back of the performance against Stirling 1s in the last round the team go into the match full of confidence.
In other matches this week. The women’s 1s compete their league season aiming to make it 10 wins from 10 as they host nearest challengers Glasgow 1s. The men’s 2s can clinch the Bucs 4B league title with a win away at Aberdeen 4s. The women’s 2s must win if they are to stay in Bucs 2A for next season and face nearest rivals Heriot Watt 1s. The men’s 3s will be looking to build on last week’s win as they play two games this week to complete their league campain. Firstly they travel to Abertay 2s before hosting Aberdeen 3s on Saturday. The women’s 3s face Edinburgh 3s in the last game of their season on Tuesday night. The men’s 4s make a long awaited return to action as they take on Dundee 4s. The men’s 5s are at home to Abertay 3s whilst the 6th team also return from a lengthy absence as they host UHI. The amatuer team, fresh from Saturday’s Fife cup success are back in cup action with a trip to Kinross in league cup action. The full fixture card is below:
