Mens 6th Team – Captains Season Review
Its been a phenomenal season for the 6s and one which we are immensely proud of. Breaking the record points tally in a harder league with fewer games really shows how well we have played this past year. I have been very lucky to be captain such a fantastic group of lads in my last year at university, and I am sure those who are not graduating will be in a higher team next year. The effort from everyone has been outstanding- with good turnouts to our two 7am training sessions a week, to everyone applying themselves socially on a Wednesday night. It is a shame we will not be able to celebrate this fantastic season with football ball given the unfortunate circumstances. From myself and the players, I would like to say a massive thank you to our coach, Matty, who has done an amazing job in his first season in the programme.
