In the lastest of our Throw Back Thursday feature we hear from two time league winning Men’s 2nd Team Head Coach Lee Sibanda, Lee, Lee Sibanda on who makes it into his all time Saints 11!

GK- Cadz – great shot stopper and decent with his feet, chucked one in at Aberdeen but it only prolonged it one more week prob his only mistake all season but honestly very reliable. No suprise he went onto better things.

RB – Ross McLennan – strong, powerful and very competitive. Was a 7 out of 10 every week.

CB(Captain) Finn Thomson – captain fantastic. Lead by example and popped up with the odd goal.

CB – Willis Slade – kicked anything that moved, very aggressive and was a no nonsense defender.

LB – Ross Anderson – not quick but a great left foot and took a few pressure penalties. His one at Aberdeen away was Julian Dicks esq.

DM- Oliver Gill – Found his position infront of the back 4. Read the game well, knew his limits, won the ball and played it to the boys who could play. Massive in us winning the league and scored a 30 yard volley on way to the title.

AM – Kostas Ntolkeras – Box to Box midfielder who had skill and great ability along with that dig and fight you need in the middle of the park.

AM – Sam McNab – could open the door and cut through teams with his powerful stature and running ability.

RW – Luke Bain – Beckham. Set play specialist and we scored alot on the way to our second league win. Scored and set up some vital goals.

LW – Ian Murray – made the difference. Skilful winger with great pace. Made goals for himself out of absolute nothing a real match winner.

CF – Sam Carp – more than just a goalscorer, pace powerful and streched teams.

Missed a few good players out of the starting 11 and u defo need a bench to be successful:

John More

Ross Hunt
Mark McGuigan
Chris McRae
Adam Hinson

Jack Chalmers
