In August, members from the Football Club and staff from Saints Sport took part in a charity cycle from St Andrews to Manchester to raise money and awareness for the blood cancer charity Bloodwise. The charity means alot to the club as it was instrumental in helping one of our players, Charlie Andrews, in his recovery from being diagnosed with blood cancer earlier in the year. The cycle took part over 3 days and over 300 miles before meeting up with Charlie and his family at Old Trafford in Manchester. In completing the challenge the group raised over £4000 and made memories that will last a life time. We are delighted that Charlie is in full remission and we look forward to having him back with us in January to resume his degree and football within the programme.
